How we support our community
As part of our Catholic religion, we stress to our children the importance of helping others. Many events are held throughout the year by Saint Clement that help instill a sense of charity in our children. Some of these events include:
  • Every classroom works together with their classmates to prepare lunches for the homeless via our parish "lunch for the homeless" program.
  • All grade levels organize and/or are engaged in projects to benefit area shelters, churches, nursing facilities, hospitals and community betterment programs.
  • Our Student Council contributes to a charitable organization as part of their required projects on an annual basis.
  • Saint Clement participates in an annual coat drive for warm coats, hats and gloves for families with children that do not have the means to purchase these items.
  • Children are asked to contribute of their time, talent and treasure to the parish every week. In an effort to make the children think about what they have done to contribute each week, they are asked to fill out envelopes that allow them to write how they donated their time to others, what talent they shared, and what treasure they can contribute out of their own earnings for those less fortunate.
