Our Faculty
Saint Clement School is led by Principal Melissa Dan. Our staff includes two Assistant Principals, an Admissions Director, and several other support staff at the administration level.

We maintain a student-faculty ratio of approximately 12:1. The average tenure of our faculty is approximately nine years, ensuring a commitment and continuity to the education of our students and families.

In our pre-Kindergarten class, each classroom has a full teacher and a teaching assistant. In our Kindergarten and First Grade classrooms, we have two full teachers in each room that team-teach, giving our youngest classes our fullest attention during these most important years.

Full-time teachers are represented in Music, Art, Drama, Computers, Spanish and Gym. In addition, a full-time Librarian is on staff, and we have a Learning Center Enrichment Program. Saint Clement is proud of the fact that we also have a full-time Learning Specialist, a Reading Specialist and a Social Worker on staff that actively work with our children in their respective fields when needed.

Faculty Development and Retention

While all members of our faculty are college graduates, many have completed additional graduate level courses or have earned a Master's Degree. Each of our staff members have been approved by the Archdiocese of Chicago's Teacher Personnel Department. Because we believe in the importance of ongoing development, Saint Clement School provides funds for professional development. Saint Clement also holds workshops throughout the year for faculty members.
