Number of Students

Saint Clement School serves classes from four-year-old pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. We have a total of over 400 students enrolled at Saint Clement. Due to increased enrollment demand by parishioners, an addition to the school was completed in 2003. A rooftop playground and additional classrooms allowed us to increase enrollment substantially.

Equality

We are committed to equality at Saint Clement School, where the student body is reflective of our community. We likewise maintain economic diversity through generous financial aid packages. (Learn more on the Admissions Tab under the Tuition Assistance Program section.)

Uniforms

We have a uniform policy at Saint Clement School, which instills standards of cleanliness, neatness and good grooming in students. All students are required to wear a uniform, except for our pre-K students.
Parish Mission
For over 60 years, the mission of the Saint Clement School has been to provide the children of the parish with a Catholic education. With the rapid gentrification of Chicago's Lincoln Park in the 1970s and 1980s, the demographics of the neighborhood and parish changed significantly. Because of its amenities, convenience to the Loop and solid housing stock, many younger couples chose to settle in Lincoln Park, join Saint Clement parish and send their children to our school.

In the mid-1990s, the number of applications for enrollment to pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten rose so sharply that the School Board revised the admissions policies to give clear priority to registered parish families.
