Melissa M. Dan has been named the principal of Saint Clement School beginning July 1, 2010. She will be meeting with faculty, staff and parents throughout the summer to guide this important transition and prepare for the coming school year.
Melissa comes to us from St. Paul, Minnesota where she has been working in schools for the past fifteen years, and most recently served as principal of an urban Catholic grammar school. Prior to becoming a principal, she taught middle school Language Arts and Literature at one of the top Catholic schools in the city. She began her teaching career in the public schools as a case worker for families in special education and then as a special education teacher.
Melissa earned her Bachelor’s from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She holds a M.Ed from the University of Minnesota as well as a degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Saint Thomas. She was also recently selected as a 2010 Van Lunen Fellow by Calvin College, a selective one year fellowship to provide leaders of educational institutions with world-class executive management skills.
The password to the private site changed on July 20, 2009. The login information can be found on the front of the Parent Handbook/Family Directory.
If you receive an "Authorization Required" error message, you need to clear an old/incorrect username/password saved on your computer. See the instructions below:
Safari:
Click the Safari menu, select Reset Safari....
Make sure 'Remove saved names and passwords' is checked.
Click Reset.
Firefox:
Click the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data...
Make sure 'Authenticated Sessions' is checked.
Click Clear Private Data Now.
Internet Explorer:
Click the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
Click the Delete Files... button and make sure 'Delete all offline content' is checked.
Click OK.
Click OK again to close the Internet Options window.
Windows Vista may require a restart of your computer before the error message stops appearing.
